Generally, cakes are the pride of any special occasion such as birthday parties and ceremonies, anniversaries etc.

Any kind of celebration or moment remains incomplete without cutting the cake and this custom continues till today.

Though everyone doesn’t like sweets there won’t be anyone who doesn’t like cake.

This is the only thing that makes the mouth water on hearing its name. During this lockdown, making a cake in the house can be more uncomplicated and that too with the products always available in the kitchen.

So I’ll tell you certain unchallenging or wonderful procedures with which you can make different types of cakes.

And I’m sure if you follow the whole method, your cake will be loved by all the householders.

One important thing to be noted that in the oven, the batter has to be kept for 6- 7 minutes and on gas, preheat a pan on a medium flame for 10 min. Later kept the batter for 30- 35 minutes on medium or slow flame.
And check it on time so that you can get the fluffy and spongy texture.

Chocolate Cake Recipe

Cocoa powder – 4-5 tsp
Refined wheat flour – 1 and 1⁄2 cup
Curd- 1⁄2 cup

Salt – 1 tsp
Milk
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Eno / baking soda- blue pouch/ 1⁄2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Cream- 1⁄2 cup
Powdered sugar- 3⁄4 cup

These are the essential ingredients for making chocolate cake.

First of all, take the bowl in which you’ll make a batter of the cake then put sugar, oil, cream curd into the bowl and mix them well then add refined flour or other products and add milk in a slowly way to make the finely layered batter (not so thick or thin).

Now grease a cake tin with oil and apply butter paper in the bottom. Transfer the batter in the cake tin.

Tap a few times the tin to release the air bubble to make sure that there will be no lumps left and it has to be a soft batter. Now you can put the container accordingly in which you want to bake the cake.

Zebra Cake Recipe

Refined oil- 10 tsp
Powdered sugar- 6 tsp
Refined wheat flour- 200 gm.
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp
Milk
Vanilla extract- few drops
Cocoa powder- 4-5 tsp

Firstly make the batter with all the given products except vanilla essence or cocoa powder.

Now divide the batter into equal two halves. Then in one half put vanilla essence and cocoa powder in the other half.

Now in a grease cake container put this mixture one by one with a spoon. Like first drop the layer of chocolate batter then vanilla on it. Continuing to put one layer on top of another.

And it’s to bake.

Banana Cake Recipe

Ripped bananas- 2-3
Powdered sugar- 3⁄4 cup
Whole wheat flour- 1 and 1⁄2 cup
Choco chips
Walnuts (or any other dry fruits)
Milk
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp

Blend the all ingredients together. Make a nice batter with all these things. Keeping the above things in mind and prepare it well.

Dalgona Cake Recipe

For base cake take:
Refined flour- 150 gm.
Cocoa powder- 40 gm.
Eno- 1 tsp
Refined oil- 150 ml.
Sugar- 100 gm
Milk- 200 ml.
Vanilla extract- few drops
For coffee cream:
Instant coffee powder – 2 and 1⁄2 tsp.
Powdered sugar- 4 tsp
Hot water- 4 tsp

Now prepare the base cake from the above products. That I already told you well.

Follow the above instructions and bake the spongy texture cake.
Now blend the coffee ingredients gently and it will give you the soft, creamy and fluffy texture of light brown or cream-coloured.

Now cut the upper part of the cake to make it stand rate plane. Then apply the dalgona coffee solution on it.

Semolina Cake Recipe

Semolina/ Rava/ suji- 1 cup
Fresh curd- 1⁄2 cup
Sugar- 1⁄2 cup
Refined oil- 1⁄4 cup
Milk- 1⁄2 cup
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp & Cocoa powder- 1⁄4 cup

Make a good paste and cover and keep it aside for 30 min. Then put it into the oven or gas accordingly.

Oreo Cake Recipe

For base cake:
Oreo biscuits- 3 large packets/ 34 – 36 biscuits
Milk
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp
For icing the cake:
Cream of oreo (already separated)
Milk- 2-3 tsp
Chocolate glaze:
Sugar- 1⁄4 cup
Cocoa powder- 2 tsp
Water- 1⁄2 cup
Sugar syrup

First of all separate the cream then blends the biscuits and make a fine powder. Now to make a batter put the milk accordingly then put the baking soda and powder into the batter.

Now bake the spongy textured cake. Now make a cream for icing.

Take that separated cream and mix it well with milk. Water, cocoa powder and sugar just cook them until thicker.

Fruit Cake Recipe

Whole wheat Flour- 1 cup
Milk powder- 1⁄2 cup (optional)
Oil- 1⁄2 cup
Milk- 1⁄2 cup
Sugar- 1⁄2 cup
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Mixed fruit essence or Vanilla essence- few drops
Whipped cream
Fruits (seasonal)
Fruit color

Take some chopped fruits first and mix it into the sugar syrup. Allow them to dissolve for a while and let it blend.

Bake the cake on other side. Now divide the cake into two halves from the middle and brush or pour the sugar syrup over the both halves.

Now put whipped cream on it and decorate with fruits.

Orange Cake Recipe

Oil- 3 tsp
Sugar powder- 7 tsp
Curd- 3-4 tsp
Refined flour- 1 cup
Salt- a pinch
Rasna orange flavor/ fresh orange juice
Tutti frutti
Baking soda- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp

First, mix all the ingredients well and prepare a solution. And bake it well. Your desert is ready to serve.

Tiger/ Sunfeast/ Parle-G Biscuit Cake Recipe

Biscuits (of any kind) – 2 packets
Sugar- 6-7 tsp
Baking powder- 1⁄2 tsp
Baking soda- 1⁄4 tsp
Milk- 1⁄2 cup
Dry fruits (optional)
Vanilla essence- few drops
Coffee- 2 tsp
Blend everything well. Then bake it and it’s ready to eat.

You can decorate these cakes in their own wonderful ways. With the help of chocolate syrup, tutti- frutti, gems, jellies, fruits, dry- fruits etc.
