Ahh, are you going gym?
Doing a lot of exercises, yoga but can’t reduce your tummy fat?
Is your tummy fat responsible for your sleepless nights? Do you find it difficult to fit in the little black number on your trousers?
If yes!! Then my friend you need to make some changes in your daily routine. From diet to the exercises you do to the number of hours you sleep and to how much stress you take, all need to be focused.
Your diet should include veggies, fruits, seeds, fish, nuts, whole grains and other foods which are loaded with carbohydrates, proteins which will keep your tummy full all day long. You need to understand your diet and exercise go hand in hand.
What’s the point if you are doing exercises and then you drink soft drinks, beers or eating gol gappas and pizza!!
Your exercises are then pointless.
And when it comes to healthy eating and losing weight, these foods will hold your back. Swipe up to know about them!!
1. Cut down all junky food and sugary items from your snacks.
Burgers, pizza, donuts, french fries – after reading them your mouth must be watering like this.
And think, are they good for your health and body?
Don’t you think they are a source of empty nutrition?
So firstly, avoid eating foods which are ultra-processed, sugary drinks, chips, bubbly beers and soft drinks. Studies show that added sugars are bad friends for your body.
What happens is when you intake excess sugars, your tummy and lungs fat increases. So start reading ingredient section of what you eat and try to avoid which includes fat and sugars. Generally speaking, these foods have a very adverse effect on your body, so have a full stop on them.

2. Keep your eyes on green leafy veggies.
You now guys you may be not liking spinach, lettuce or peas; even I never liked eating them but then I realized that they are the essentials for our body.
There are so so nutritious for your eyes, hairs, skin and your whole body and believe me they definitely burn your tummy fat.
So while you do gyming, Never never forget them. An added bonus is that they are full of fibre, minerals, vitamins – which is very good! So why to skip them??
3. The beans – say yes to them.
One of the healthiest food you can think of is are ‘beans’.
Do you know which food is healthy for your heart?
Yeah.. they are Beans! They are good to boost immunity and control blood sugar levels. Beans are a rich source of vitamin – A, C &K.
To add more, they are rich in proteins, lower the risk of heart attack and good for memory.
Apart from all these, beans also help in reducing weight.
4. Know the power of Mushrooms.
They are my favourito!!! Ummmm… I love mushrooms very much. I don’t know why but I am in love with mushrooms.
They are a great source for Vitamin B2 & B3. Surprisingly, they reduce the risk of cancer too.
And the best part is that they are low in calories, it means they are good to eat when you want to reduce your tummy. They burn your fat by regulating the level of glucose in your blood, so aren’t they good?
5. Broccoli and Cauliflower – Good fit for your diet.
Both of them removes toxins and free radicles from your body and helps boost strong blood cells. They maintain healthy and glowing skin.
Added bonus? – They boost your hair growth. Also, they are good for stomach disorders, takes care of your heart, and great for eye health. Most importantly they help in your weight – loss.

6. Bunny’s favourite – Carrots!
Crunchy, tasty and very nutritious!
Carrots make your chubby cheeks red and glowing skin.
If you are dieting, then don’t forget carrots as they have a good amount of fibre and also helps reduce your tummy fat. As fibre takes more time to digest and therefore we feel fullness in the stomach. Mix them with other fruits in a juicer mixer and grab a big glass of it.
7. Cucumber – cool side of cucumber:)
Ah! who doesn’t knows that cucumber is high on nutrients?
And it has a high content of water which detoxifies your internal system, they fill your tummy up which eliminates eating more often. And for the fact that they are low in calories and has vitamins and minerals, you should include it in your mid-day meals.
8. Peanut Butter – It’s not just for kids
Peanut Butter can be like an angel when you are thinking for weight – loss.
Peanut butter has high levels of monosaturated fats which will make you feel satiated for long and help you to lose weight. People going gym very well know that peanut butter is high in proteins and nutrition but you might not know that they reduce your tummy as well.
You may try eating it in breakfast with brown bread. Spread peanut butter instead of jam or other butter.
Or you can do what I do!
Add a spoon of peanut butter(instead of adding chocola in a smoothie which includes a blend of banana, milk and protein powder.
9. Oats – Two-minute food
A very healthy diet food – oats are high on nutrients and fibre. And they are proved to be very good for weight-loss. Oats are not only healthy but are a very great source of vitamins, minerals, fibre and lower down blood sugar levels.
- Avoid sugary and instant oats.
- Add fibre-rich toppings such as raspberries, strawberries, almonds and blueberries.
- You may add oats in milk and smoothies.
10. Makhana – Fox nuts really?
This is surprising!
What makes makhanas perfect for weight loss is that it is full of proteins and its intake will keep your tummy full for long hours.
They don’t have any saturated fats and can be eaten as an excellent snack as they are very low in calories. Apart from it, they also reduce kidney problems, helps manage your blood sugar levels, good for your bone and teeth health, good to eat in diabetes. Also, it includes iron and calcium content which makes them really great for pregnant
An ideal snack for your untimely hunger pangs. It is a full pack with goodness because they are low in cholesterol, fat, and sodium. They are a plus point for those suffering from high blood pressure, heart diseases and obesity. Gluten-free, protein-rich and high in carbohydrates. It has anti-ageing qualities too!
11. Nuts and dry-fruits –
Dry fruits has end number of benefits from heart to reducing tummy fat. Same as with all of the above foods, they are good and healthy for your body.
But you need to know about their pros and cons as well. As they boost up nutrients, proteins, vitamin and fibre intake and fill-in with a great number of anti-oxidants.
Talking about the bad part of them is that they are high in sugar and calories so it can have bad effects when eaten in excess.
They are focused sources of calories, proteins, essential fats, vitamins and minerals.
Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, dates, hazelnuts, dried apricots and raisins are considered good if you are looking out to reduce your weight.
Guys, putting on weight is very easy but losing weight is a daunting task. A lot of dedication, a lot of self-control and regular exercise/yoga with a healthy and good diet is required.
And one more thing over all these foods, don’t forget drinking water as its 100% calorie free because it helps to remove toxins from your body and helps you to burn more calories.
